Day One

Depart Britomart Station in themed train carriages, or transfer by coach, to the hallowed turf of national stadium Eden Park. Pass through the players’ tunnel for a VIP arrival and receive a traditional Māori cultural welcome from The Haka Experience

Split into groups for Eden Park Experiences. Options include: 

  • Stadium tours and locker room experience with a branded shirt souvenir and signed memorabilia. 
  • Scenic rooftop walk, groundsman educational talk, mixology masterclass or art experience. 
  • Teamwork and leadership talk and Q&A session with New Zealand professional rugby, cricket, golf, athlete or mentor/coach. 
  • Playing as a team in a rugby, cricket or golf game, with MC/DJ to keep spectators entertained and live score updates on the big screen. 

Refuel with a BBQ lunch on the balcony of the World Cup Lounge. Each guests name appearing in lights across the stadium. 

In the afternoon, learn and perform a rousing haka, a ceremonial war dance, with a Māori warrior guide. Learn more about Māori culture, empower your team, embrace equality, celebrate diversity and stimulate creativity. 

Enjoy dinner in the iconic Grand Hall, providing magical moments for sporting fans from around the world with its history and traditional touches.

Day Two

Guests choice of activity, options include: 

  • Wētā Workshop Unleashed – Enjoy interactive and immersive film sets and effects inspired by Academy Award-winning Wētā Workshop. 
  • Auckland Art Gallery – Immerse yourself in the largest permanent collection of New Zealand art, as well as traditional and contemporary international works. 
  • Auckland Zoo – Explore New Zealand’s amazing fauna and flora, including more than 100 native plants and 60 native species at Te Wao Nui. 
  • Te Toki Voyaging – Sail a waka (Māori canoe) on the harbour using traditional navigation techniques, and hear about the waka’s history. 
  • Auckland War Memorial Museum – Visit one of the finest museums in the Southern Hemisphere, including a gallery displaying over 1,000 Māori taonga (treasures). 
  • Maritime Museum – Learn about the sea’s key role in Kiwi life, from the earliest Polynesian voyagers, through to New Zealand’s modern day champions of sailing. 
  • MOTAT – the Museum of Transport and Technology, highlighting Kiwi ingenuity. Explore a historic village and ride a vintage tram to the amazing collection in the Aviation Display Hall. 

Then dine out on the waterfront views during a ‘walk and fork’ standing and socialising lunch at Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill, which specialises in fresh New Zealand seafood, meat and produce. 

In the afternoon, cruise the sparkling waters of Auckland’s beautiful Waitematā Harbour on Fullers360’s Quick Cat. View the city skyline, stunning coastal scenery and volcanic islands, look for marine wildlife, and hear informative commentary. 

End the evening with dinner, dancing, and entertainment onboard.

Day Three

Free time to shop for high-end international brands, boutique New Zealand designers or unique New Zealand gifts in the Commercial Bay, Britomart and Queen Street precincts. 

Stock up on mementos to take home including New Zealand wine, Manuka honey, Merino wool apparel, natural skincare products or Māori crafts such as a pounamu (greenstone), bone or wood carvings. 

Choose your lunch in the Commercial Bay food court of fantastic street food-style offerings. Diverse vendors provide a rich array of cuisines, world flavours, and vegan and halal options to suit all tastes. 

Return to your accommodation for spa treatments and appointments with mobile hair and makeup artists to prepare for the evening closing extravaganza. 
Memorable gala dinner options include: 

Sampling the best of Auckland’s famed cultural festivals at either modern waterfront venue Viaduct Events Centre, or heritage-listed revamped industrial space Shed 10. From the bright lights of the Lantern Festival to the vibrant culture of Pasifika and the history of Tāmaki Herenga Waka Festival, the evening will incorporate music, dance, and cultural performances from each festival, capturing the vibrant multicultural flavours of Auckland. 

Or be entertained with a bespoke performance from the Auckland Philharmonia orchestra, performing anything from world-class traditional classical pieces to dancefloor-filling modern dance anthems. 

If you’d like something more casual, transfer to Little Creatures Brewery & Tap Room at Hobsonville Point. Enjoy diverse food stations then dance the night away to DJs at this former seaplane hangar which now hosts New Zealand’s biggest microbrewery.
